What guides us every day is to highlight what nature gives us. We are part of and participate in the development of an exceptional terroir, where biodiversity and agriculture are omnipresent.
When you come to us, customers, partners or family or friends, we make sure to associate with this place of life with kindness.
Many vineyards and trees of the Domain were born well before us, we owe them Respect. We are part of an exceptional biodiversity: earthworm, red-tail, tits, hares ... each finds its place and its balance. We live and work in this exceptional environment that welcomes us, we must respect it. Every wine is the result of what Nature does, not what we do with Nature. We only cultivate harmony with Respect.
Only the Passion allows us to accomplish beautiful things. It is this same passion that allows us to make artisan wines. We work with our hands, the vine is demanding but we are also demanding with it. From pruning to disbudding until the harvest, the passion of a job well done every day makes our hand to do the right thing.
Thus, we produce limited quantities of a quality wine that fully reflects our terroir in Northern Luberon in AOP Ventoux. Our red wines are spicy, with notes of sour cherry, our aromatic white wines, our fresh and gourmet rosés.The gray clay of our soil brings them this unique typicity.
It was in  January 2018 that we moved to Château Saint Pons . We wanted to give a new meaning to our life by changing jobs and leaving the Paris region.  Getting back to basics, working with our hands   in a preserved nature, these are the leitmotivs that pushed us to us install  in the heart of the Luberon Regional Natural Park .
We want to make this place a meeting space but also a place where you can relax and listen to your senses. Make you live a  unique experience  by sharing our profession, by discovering our wines, strolling through our vineyard, admiring the sunset in a wonderful place, are our everyday goals.
Sight is stimulated during the Guided Tour of our Vineyard or our Sunset evenings with superb sunsets over the Monts de Vaucluse.
The Taste, during the tasting of our wines, our Truffle evenings or by tasting our charcuterie boards made from Ventoux pork
The Odorate, during our workshop on Wine Aromas, where you will recognize aromas presented to you
Le Toucher, when visiting our cellars with the contact of our casks oak or our tanks
Hearing, during our evenings with musical atmospheres or during a moment relaxing in the shade of our poplars, lulled by the sound of cicadas.
'Our Earth', clay-limestone dominated by gray clay confers our wines of the typical notes of our terroir. Our red wines are spicy, with notes of sour cherry, our aromatic white wines with notes of white fruits, our gourmet rosés with citrus notes: the gray clay of our soils brings them this unique typicity.
Château Saint Pons participates in the Sustainable Development objectives defined by the UNO:
Goal # 12:  Responsible Consumption and Production
In our Domaine, we do not irrigate our vines. Our vineyard is ideally located on the Hill of Wells. Water flows naturally at 6 meters and the clay soil holds moisture.
We work the soil to promote the infiltration of water, avoid runoff. 'A hoe is worth two waterings'.
Inputs are limited to a minimum, fertilization is ensured by pruning, grass and woodland.
We take care to limit our waste with the help of our hens, consume food local and only what we need. We limit our energy use through efficient heating and cooling systems. We take care of the wild life.
Objective 15:  Terrestrial Life: Preserving and Restoring Terrestrial Ecosystems
The vineyards of our estate are surrounded by forests, lined with suitable hedges the maintenance and development of biodiversity. Bees, tits, red-tails, Ladybugs, Bats ... are so many cultivators who fight against pests of the vine.
Inter-row grass and heaps of wood (which provide winter shelter for insects and arachnids) to maintain biodiversity. The grass is cut 8 cm high so to promote the circulation of insects, some portions of grass are not cut.
Soil erosion is limited by grass cover and hedgerows.
More generally, we make sure to permanently subscribe to a CSR approach ( Corporate Social Responsibility ).
